The class decided that we would create a class magazine. Christine O’ Mahony showed us the basics. We put in crosswords, word searches, jokes, puzzles and drawings. There was a competition for the name of the magazine and for its logo. The winning name was Bitz 'n Pieces by Jimmy Twomey & Daniel O’Keeffe and the final logo was designed by Hugh O’Connor & Jerry Murphy. We will use this logo and magazine title in all further editions of the magazine. We also put in things about sport and a Halloween section. On the front page there's a picture of us, taken with a digital camera. Sheila Crowley, our principal, added in a note to congratulate us on our work. We sold it to our parents for £1. We gave the money to Joan Barrow & Noreen Guiney, two local Newmarket ladies, for charity in Belarus. By Joseph Walsh
