THE GREAT ESCAPE

I was in Russia in a dark secret lab down in the depths of the ocean. I heard the door slamming shut. I was locked in.

Suddenly I tripped over something when I was trying to turn on the lights. I looked around the room and I noticed that the picture on the wall was crooked. As I moved the picture, I hit a button beside it and the picture moved. Right before me was a safe. I tried to open the safe. I put my ear up to it and fiddled around with the knobs, and then click the safe door swung open. There in front of me was a pile of magazines, gold and silver. I searched through the safe and there in front of me was the Missile Encoder. I breathed a sigh of relief. Mission accomplished. But now another ‘small’ problem! Which way to get out of the room? Suddenly I heard a laser behind me. I turned around ….

the guard was asleep and accidentally had pushed the trigger in the laser. It was World War Three. We had to bomb America. I crept beside the guard and tried to open the door but it would not open. I went over to the guard and searched for the keys. When I found them he suddenly woke up. He was about to get his gun but I hit him with mine instead. He fell unconscious on the floor. I knew I couldn’t escape until I launched the missile. I looked into the safe and took one of the magazines and looked at it. In it, I read how to operate the missile encoder. I slowly walked to the missile. I wiped a drop of sweat from my forehead. I tried to remember the code the government gave to me. I remembered it was 5,4,3,1,2. If I put the wrong code in, it would hit a different country. That would cause more war between countries. So I pressed the buttons. I heard the missile launching. I wondered if it would hit America. I had to escape now, so I . . .

got the sniper rifle the guard had dropped accidentally. I ran down the hall. Suddenly, I stopped at a dead end. Three or four soldiers were coming towards me. I aimed at their heads with my sniper and I shot their heads off. I saw a vent overhead. Amazingly, a rope dropped down from the vent. I climbed up and saw my trusty sidekick, OddJob. I said to him, "I thought you were dead". OddJob said, "We have to get out of here." OddJob and I agreed that we had better get out before the Americans started bombing around this area. I don’t know how we got out but we did. When we got out, OddJob saw an abandoned jeep, so, we drove off in it. As we were driving along, we saw an enormous lorry with millions of rifles in the back. Suddenly, about twenty soldiers got out of the truck and ran straight for us. OddJob and I shot every single one of them. We finally reached the airport to go to England to start a new life.
