THE
MONTH I WAS TAOISEACH
The
Taoiseach was gone to the U.S.A. to see his daughter. So he rang me up and said I could be the Taoiseach for a
month. I brought my friends
with me Harry and Torn. The
house was a mansion. You
should have seen it. There
were nine televisions, one swimming pool outside and two Jacuzzis
inside. His daughter's old
room was lovely. I slept in
there. She had lots of
pictures. They left us in
charge, so, we got right down to business.
We were thinking all night about what we were going to do.
So this is what we decided to do.
We gave instructions that all schools should be shut down
immediately and all teachers should be sent to Mars.
Every child in the country would get a gift voucher for £100 to
5rnyths Toy Store. Next day
we went out and bought a Ferrari each.
We had great fun showing off our new sports cars.
However, with the new cars we had no money left.
We searched the whole house and then our dream came through.
The BROWN ENVELOPES.................. were
behind a picture of Mona Lisa, in the daughter's old room.
We took the envelopes and opened them.
We took the piece of paper out.
I threw the piece of paper away into the girl's bin.
'What did you do?' said Harry.
Harry took the piece of paper up and showed it to rm.
It was a cheque for ten thousand pounds.
We took all the brown envelopes and brought them downstairs.
We rang the Taoiseach's driver.
He drove us to the Taoiseach's jet.
Harry flew the jet and did loop the loops in the air.
Harry landed on a strange dark island that 1 had never seen on
the map before. 'Let's
explore' said Tom. 'Bertie'
said Harry. 'Which way do
we go. Right, left or
straight'? "Let's go right,' said Harry.
'Let's drop stones to find our way back said Tom.
'Be quiet, Tom' said Harry.
'That is a stupid idea', said Harry.
'Let's go' said Tom. We
come to a group of aliens who brought us to their leader.
The aliens said 'Let's eat all your brains'.
They put Tom on the table. They
were about to cut open Tom's heed when...... I
looked out of the window and I saw
the Earth. I said, 'We
must be flying at the speed of light'.
Tom started to scream and scream and five aliens came after him
and hit him with a bat. Harry
and myself ran down the hall. Harry
got hit with a bat on the head. I
kept running and I went into a room and a small alien said, 'I will not
harm you.' He said 'Push that button to your right.' I did as he said
and a blue light came out. He said, "Step in'.
I stepped in and he said, 'May the force be with you.* I shot out
like a bullet and I headed to Earth.
I landed near Cork. I
rang for the Taoiseach's car to pick me up.
Soon I was in Dublin
and I rang the USA army to kill the aliens and save Harry.
In about three hours, Harry was saved and I kept three brown
