Our School Trip

It all started the day when we were told we were going on a mystery trip. The price was £70 a person. We had to bring clothes, spare clothes and a swimsuit. We also had to bring £100 pocket money. We had to wait at our own house gates at 9:00 a.m. sharp. It was Monday morning; everybody was at their own gate. The bus arrived on time. We all got on. It was an hour to Shannon Airport. We boarded the plane. Then we realised we were travelling first class. "No wonder it was £70", we all said. There were a lot of comfortable chairs, our own T.V. and free food. Everyone was beating each other for a big chocolate muffin. But in the end the teacher ate it all. Tony was frightened, so, we had to give him a sleeping pill. We arrived at our destination eventually and we had to carry Tony off the plane. Everyone was pushing and shoving but we finally got out. We asked the teachers where we were and all they said was "Guess." We gave up and they told us that we were in …….

Paris! "Wow!" we all shouted. We went on a bus journey and soon arrived in Disneyland. First, we went to Space Mountain. We went in a train and suddenly giant boulders fell out ten metres in front of the open-air train. We all thought we were doomed but then it just rose into the air and we were all safe again. Next we decided to go up on the Super Looper. On the Super Looper, you keep going round in this loop mostly. We all got on and the whole roller coaster was full. We went around the loop a few times. The next time, we went around we heard these creaky noises. Next the roller coaster was not moving. It was jammed and we were hanging upside down out on the roller coaster. Spike was crying her eyes out and Rex was calling her Mammy but Edge and Bono were calm and we were telling them to stop crying…

After a while, they stopped crying. They were all very scared and you could see it on their faces. A man said on the loud speakers "There will be somebody to help you in five minutes". We were all starting to panic after the five minutes were up because nobody came up to help us. The owner said "Hang on another minute". The Super Looper started to move forward slowly. When we reached the bottom, people came up to help us and the owner said that he was very sorry for what had happened. "On this special very occasion, we can give you tickets for your whole life. How does that sound?" he asked. We then decided to go into the arcade. The next day we had to go home so we bought some presents for our family and friends. "This is going to be a trip we’ll never forget for the rest of our lives", we said.
