School Open Night 

Every year in our school gym we have an Arts and Crafts night.  We play the tin-whistle and sing songs to entertain all adults of the town, who come to view our work.  There is a first, second and third prize.  First prize you get £5, second prize you get £3 and for third prize you get £2.There are lots of competitions including Crafts, Drawings, Hand-drawn Christmas cards, Stories, Computer  Christmas cards and Poems.  We get a professional artist to judge the competition.  Even when the arts and crafts night is not on, we do a lot of arts and crafts during the year including needle and thread pictures, fretsaw work and mosaics.  For Christmas 2000, instead of an arts and crafts night, the teachers thought it would be a change to take us somewhere.  It was a basketball match between Big ALS Notre Dame versus Burger King Limerick.  After that we went to McDonalds.  We all enjoyed it.
