The painting of the library door

This year, before Easter, 4th, 5th and 6th class prepared themselves for a pain stacking but enjoyable, yet risky construction and painting of the library door. The best artist from 4th, 5th and 6th designed and outlined the eventual masterpiece it is today.  4th and 5th got the inside, while 6th got the glorious outside.  4th 5th started, what finished to be, a very good jungle scene.  4th and 5th stumble on to a  marvelous discovery. But I won’t tell you how. This marvelous discovery allowed the pencil drawing to be seen through the paint!  6th, being 6th, harnessed and used this discovery to their advantage.  4th and 5th finished their side in 3days.  6th class dreamed to smash this record by a day.  6th began with leaps and bounds.  Our center piece was the almighty Cork eagle.  Our side was coming along superbly. It was spilt into two halves, the bottom half was a monster playing pitch; the other half was an Amazon scene.  When we finished we narrowly beat 4th and 5th.
